Humana – and their competitors – were jostling for position as the deadline for enrolling seniors into Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D prescription drug plans neared.

The Challenge

Humana asked for strategic marketing assistance in 13 states across the Midwest – many of which were expansion markets – while equipping their sales teams with market intelligence to inform selling strategies and insight.

We prescribed comprehensive demographic-based Market Action Plans that afforded newly hired sales staff in unfamiliar territory the facts to find their audience fast, and tailor details to each region.

The Results

In less than six months, Transcend researched, planned and placed more than $3 million in advertising and distributed press releases across 200 media markets, effectively steering seniors to Humana’s seminars and facilitating enrollment.
