Lead Strategist (Remote, Full-Time)

The Lead Strategist at Transcend Strategy Group studies markets, industry trends, performance patterns and Transcend proprietary research to design client-specific strategies to achieve business goals. The Lead Strategist facilitates strategic planning, ongoing strategy implementation, and performance tracking and solutions to adapt to changing market conditions. Additionally, the Lead Strategist also serves as a thought leader, speaking at conferences, publishing articles and coaching Transcend team members.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client organizations, business performance, industry trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
  • Oversee agency research efforts and leverage research and performance data to inform strategies
  • Craft strategies to solve challenges and propose key performance indicator metrics to track the impact of solutions
  • Coach and advise clients on the use of technology solutions to support workforce performance
  • Guide client senior teams and boards through strategic planning and implementation efforts
  • Translate knowledge into communications that are simple, clear, actionable and easy to understand
  • Translate client and industry research, insights and trends to Transcend team to inform work, inspire solutions and support knowledge building in the team
  • Concept and design new service offerings that strengthen the Transcend value proposition
  • Actively continue to grow expertise within the industry and to demonstrably foster growth within the Transcend team

Required Skills and Interests:

  • Commitment to the Transcend mission and values
  • At least 10 years of experience in business or healthcare administration or consulting
  • Ability to interpret business performance and market research data and understand its implications for improving performance and capitalizing on new opportunities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly –verbally and in writing
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities with follow through
  • Relationship building skills
  • Exemplify curiosity and a proactive drive to advance client, team and personal goals
  • Courage to ask the tough questions or raise difficult topics with kindness, respect and all-in commitment to the best for the client, the team and Transcend
